MEET OUR FAMILY

 

Loran and Nancy Wach

Together, Loran and Nancy raise cattle, corn, wheat, soybeans, and not to mention five kids! They have been best friends and business partners for 39 years in Hayes County, Nebraska. Even though they are empty-nesters, they keep busy traveling to 3 different cities to visit their children and granddaughters!

They handle the day-to-day work on the farm keeping cattle healthy and crops growing along with managing the budget and finances for High Ridge Beef.

Lance, Melissa, Ella, and Emmie Wach

Serving as an active duty pilot in the United States Air Force, Lance, call sign “Dusty”, his wife Melissa, and daughters Ella and Emmie have moved from Florida to Alaska to Oklahoma, and everywhere in between. Melissa is a full time mom and wife and also has her own creative business, Wach by Faith Creations. The seventh generation, Ella and Emmie, love spending time on the farm and keep their mom and dad on their toes! Their favorite thing to do as a family is going out for an ice cream date.

Together they coordinate and manage bulk beef orders and Enid, OK USDA individual cuts, help create social media and newsletter content, keep the website up to date, and manage customer service for High Ridge Beef.

Alex and Brittany Wach

Alex and his wife Brittany live in Lincoln, NE. Alex is an Associate Director of Institutional Research and Data Analytics at Southeast Community College and Brittany is a family and consumer sciences teacher at Lincoln East High School. As a couple, they can often be found playing a round of golf together, cheering on the Huskers at sporting events, or playing with their pup, PJ.

Together they manage North Lincoln USDA individual cuts and help with the promotion team for High Ridge Beef.

Larissa Wach

Whether stateside or overseas, Larissa has a passion for ministry and sharing the gospel! She serves as the co-director of a college ministry with the Salt Company at Colorado State University. One of her favorite things about living in Colorado is her proximity to the ski slopes! She can often be found teaching piano lessons or a fitness class and loves being outdoors.

Larissa helps produce social media content for High Ridge Beef.

Jesse, Andrea, and Parker Tenney

Serving the people and keeping the streets safe, Jesse works as an investigator for the Lincoln Police Department. Andrea (Wach) is our creative one in the family and is a Learning Designer for Vivayic. They welcomed the newest member of the High Ridge Beef family into the world in May and are absolutely smitten with little Parker Jean! They love their dog Gibbs, spending time at the lake, and trips to Dairy Queen.

Together they manage South Lincoln USDA individual cuts, help create social media content, develop promotional items, and run our business meetings.

Wesley Wach

Wesley works as the Demand and Utilization Coordinator for the Nebraska Soybean Board in Lincoln, NE. The position sends him on all sorts of business trips to represent Nebraska soybeans in places like Chile, the Philippines, and Vietnam. He enjoys being involved with Citylight Church, playing basketball, hiking, and fishing!

Wesley helps create social media including writing all of our “cow fun facts”, is on the promotion team, keeps meeting minutes for our business, and came up with the name for High Ridge Beef!
